Over 7,000 Women Gather for Empowered21
Global Women’s Alliance First Regional Conference
On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, more than 7,000 women from across Latin America convened at Comunidad Cristiana Agua Viva in Lima Peru for “Mujeres Unidas” (United Women) 2024, marking the first regional gathering of the Empowered21 Global Women’s Alliance. This landmark event featured inspiring ministry from Christine Caine, Daniela Freidzon-McCabe, Sonia Luna, and Carla Hornung.
Christine Caine, who serves as the Chair for the Empowered21 Global Women’s Alliance, stated, “Over 7,000 gathered in Lima to be equipped, empowered, and committed to reach their sphere of influence with the Gospel. There was great unity among leaders throughout Central and South America and we are thrilled to have officially launched the E21 Women’s Alliance in Latin America.”
E21 Women’s Alliance Vice-Chair Daniela Freidzon-McCabe said, “We are witnessing a powerful move of God among women, as God raises and fills them with His Spirit to boldly proclaim Jesus to the world. This is a generation of women empowered to transform their communities and nations for the kingdom of God.”

Pastor Carla Hornung of Comunidad Cristiana Agua Viva hosted the event and serves as the regional leader for E21 Women’s Alliance in Latin America. Reflecting on the day, she said, “Mujeres Unidas 2024 was such a special time! From the get-go, as Daniela ministered in the opening session, the presence of the Lord was so tangible, and you could feel the joy, freedom, and hunger in the atmosphere!”
Future regional E21 Women’s Alliance gatherings are being planned for 2025 and 2026 in locations around the world.
