Empowered21 Welcomes Assistant Director to the Team
Empowered21 is pleased to announce that Pastor Caleb Wehrli has joined its staff as Assistant Director. In this new role, he will give support to Empowered21’s 14 regional cabinets across the globe, as well as supporting and resourcing E21’s various initiative work groups and global gatherings.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled at the prospect of joining Empowered21 at this crucial juncture in its growth,” said Wehrli. “More and more Spirit-empowered believers worldwide are catching the vision of Empowered21 and I’m honored to provide support as this organization carries out its mission that every person on Earth would have an authentic encounter with Jesus Christ through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit by Pentecost 2033.”
For fifteen years, Wehrli and his wife Sarah, both graduates of Oral Roberts University, served in ministry and leadership at Victory Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, founding Victory Orlando three years ago. They previously lived in Hong Kong as missionaries, organizing various projects across Asia, with Caleb simultaneously serving on the E21 Asia Cabinet.
During the past two years, Wehrli has also spent countless hours in Brazil facilitating meetings with ministry leaders from across the region. As a result, Empowered21 Brazil is now experiencing significant advancement and will host a landmark, groundbreaking Leadership Gathering in São Paulo, September 21-22, 2018.
“The time was right to officially bring Caleb on board the E21 team,” said Ossie Mills, Executive Director of Empowered21. “He’s been doing great work for us in the past; with him as Assistant Director, we will be able to strategically channel his relentless work as we serve the 640 million Spirit-empowered Christians around the globe.”
As Assistant Director, Wehrli will focus on mobilizing groups across the world to personally experience Jerusalem 2020, a massive gathering scheduled for May 31-June 3, 2020 at the Pais Arena in Jerusalem. With his experience in global ministry, combined with his practical pastoral service, Wehrli will be able to strengthen the work within the regions to continue promoting the vision and mission of Empowered21.
