E21 Concludes with Day of Prayer and Praise on Pentecost Sunday
JERUSALEM—Empowered21 hosted a day of prayer on Pentecost Sunday in Jerusalem, May 24. Worship and prayer began in the morning in The Pavilion at King of Kings Community.
“We had thousands of believers join together to pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit,” said William M. Wilson, president and global co-chair of Empowered21. “The slate of anointed leaders who brought the word at King of Kings today was phenomenal and set the tone for a powerful conclusion at tonight’s impartation service.” Wilson explained the impartation service as a catalyst for the next generation to embrace the power of the Holy Spirit and the Great Commission as inspired by Acts 1:8, ‘But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
King of Kings, on Jaffa Street in downtown Jerusalem, was filled to overflowing for a service which began at 9:00 a.m. and concluded at 3:00 p.m. Robert Stearns,founder and executive director of Eagles’ Wings facilitated and ministered during the event. Many other Spirit-empowered leaders came to the podium to deliver messages including Doug Beacham, presiding bishop of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church; Jürgen Bühler, executive director of International Christian Embassy Jerusalem; Morris Cerullo, founder of Morris Cerullo World Evangelism; Ishmael Charles, bishop of the International Worship Center; Mahesh and Bonnie Chavda, founder and senior pastor of All Nations Church; Simon Peter Emiau, general superintendent of Pentecostal Assemblies of God in Uganda; John Francis, senior pastor, RUACH City Church; Prince Guneratnam, chairman of Pentecostal World Fellowship; Marilyn Hickey, founder of Marilyn Hickey Ministries; Cindy Jacobs, co-founder of Generals International; Steven and Naim Khoury, pastors, Calvary Baptist Church, Bethlehem; Chadwick Mohan, lead pastor New Life Assembly of God in Tamil; Jerome Ocampo, co-founder Jesus International Now; Phil Pringle, founder and president of C3 Church International;Greg Surratt, founding pastor of Seacoast Church; and Mark Williams, presiding bishop of the Church of God.
